I guess one of the most common questions we get in our email is from people wanting to know how to enter their Rock Band 2 Cheats, that’s why we decided to go ahead and make a separate post describing the exact method of entering the cheat codes so we don’t have to go over it every time and in emails again and again.

The process of entering your Rock band 2 Cheats is really pretty simple and most people

could probably figure it out on their own but, hey, why waste time fooling around with something we can just explain and be done with? So here we go.

1. Go to the MAIN menu and select EXTRAS.
2. In the EXTRAS section select MODIFY GAME.
3. Once you to this point you simply enter the cheat code with one of the instruments. (Drums is usually the easiest.)

The Rock Band 2 Cheats will be presented as a series of colors that coordinate with the color coding of the instruments. Just hit the colors in the proper order and the code will be entered.

Some cheat codes can also be entered with a regular game controller. These codes will be designated as "Controller" and will give letter that correspond to the buttons on the controller. Just enter the buttons in the proper sequence to enter the cheat code.

Be prepared, some cheat codes require you to enter the code fairly quickly in the proper rhythm. If you don’t get the cheat to take the first time, keep trying. Don’t give up. It takes most people a few tries to get the hang of entering Rock Band 2 Cheats.
